Transforming the healing process into an energetic masterpiece

About

In 2017, Reiki opened my eyes and heart to the joy of healing, transforming my life in ways I still experience to this day. As I became more familiar with Reiki, I felt called to invite my fiercest passion, painting, into the mix. Combining painting and Reiki is one of the most intimate and unique healing therapies I have ever come across in my experience. It’s like having your aura picture custom-made by your healer. Each one is different. It is an experience I am excited to share with you.

My Purpose

My mission is to restore your overall well-being by bringing you to a state of energetic balance via hands-on treatment. Having a deep passion for both healing and painting, I wanted to incorporate both so that if someone is a visual person like me, they can see what I saw from their etheric bodies on their physical bodies. By charging the paint with Reiki, it becomes a vehicle from which the healing energy will be transmitted onto the body. The extracted energy then transforms into a piece of art. My mission is to create an experience of release, renewal, and clarity for you, so that you can feel and see the healing process as it unfolds.

  • What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that is used to activate the body’s natural healing process by channeling energy through the palms of the healer. It stabilizes spiritual wellness by balancing chakras, removing blockages, and increasing the client’s overall well-being. Reiki was originally developed in Japan of 1922 by Dr. Mikao Usui. Over time Dr. Usui’s technique has been adapted into various traditions around the world.
  • What is a Reiki healer?
A Reiki healer is someone who has studied with and has been attuned by a Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki healers act as a vessel through which Life Force Energy flows to the recipient in order to remove energy blockages and achieve balance.
  • Are there any risks?
There are no proven medical risks associated with Reiki. However, it should not be used as a substitute for professional medical treatment.
  • Do you do distance Reiki?
Absolutely. Because we are all energetically connected, Reiki can be sent and received far and wide. Life Force Energy extends beyond time and space and can heal anyone despite any distance. Intention is key. Permission is necessary to perform distance Reiki.
  • How does distance Reiki work?
The client and I will speak ahead of time to discuss the desired areas of focus and agree upon a date and time to perform the session wherever we are. The client can sit or lay down, and I will perform the session as I would in person (sometimes using an object to link to the client’s energy field). After the session, I will either call the client or write to them depending on their preference, to explain what I noticed about their energy and provide suggestions for how they can keep their energy balanced.
  • How will I know if it works?
Reiki affects everybody differently. You may feel the effects immediately after a session, or maybe a week later. Regardless of the timing, Reiki works through the energy field as it finds necessary for each individual. It is working whether you feel it or not. Trust in the process, and offer yourself patience.
  • Do you offer your services for events?
Yes! You are welcome to reach out to me through the online contact form to inquire about booking Reiki, Reiki body painting, or body painting for your intimate event.
  • What type of paint do you use?
In a typical session, I use acrylic paint to go over the clothing and water-based body paint for the skin. Acrylic is used on clothing so that it can be hand washed without the paint coming out.
  • Does the paint wash off?
The body paint will wash off the skin with soap and water. The acrylic paint on the clothing is plastic-based, so it will not wash out.
  • Are you going to paint my clothing?
This choice is entirely up to you. If you would like only your body painted and not your clothes, I can absolutely accommodate. However, if you would like to keep your Reiki energy art as a meditative memento, then I would suggest wearing something white, and relatively tight-fitting so that you can take it home with you. If you do not have anything you would be comfortable covering in paint but would like to experience it, we can work together on purchasing clothing appropriate for the session beforehand.
  • Can I receive Reiki without the body painting?
Yes! Anything that you feel you need, I will do my part in making that happen for you.
  • Can I have my body painted without Reiki?
Another yes! If you don’t feel called to receive Reiki, you can absolutely be a beautiful canvas still. I would be honored to adorn you.
